Ever think about what you are singing?
Oh, I’m running to Your arms,I’m running to Your arms.
The riches of Your love will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace.
Light of the world forever reign.
I sang a song two weeks ago called Forever Reign. I was floored. “Light of the world forever reign”.
Forever Reign. Really? Do I really want you in control forever?
Of everything?
If my friends died right now they would go to Hell! And You are in control of this! I do not understand?
Your plan is killing me! I want them to know Jesus so bad!
But…
You know what is best for me and for those that love you.
You know how to run the universe, not me.
My friends not loving Jesus right now…
I do not understand how this is best for me.
But You, God, hold the world in your hands.
And I will trust in You when everything falls apart.
When all that is left is my heart.
When the light turns into dark I will trust you.
And I will go back to the start and give you my Heart.
Sounds crazy, I know.
But think about it.
I want you to.
I have.
And I will still sing with all my heart even with my last breath!
Because God is infinitely wise.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be glory forever. Amen. – Romans 11:11-36
He always knows the greatest goal in every situation and the perfect way to achieve it. He is wise. No one can give Him advice. He cannot increase in wisdom.
For that to happen something wise would have to go into His mind that He has not already thought of. Not happening.
People might tell you that God is a fool when they see a shot of pain in the world. I beg you, do not believe the empty lies of the hopeless. Believe the bible! Believe the Holy Spirit!
There are tears of joy in seeing the sovereign control of an all-wise, all-loving God.There is not one square inch of the entire creation about which Jesus Christ does not cry out “this is mine!”
When we know that we are not in a random world, but one where God assures us that the worst things will indeed work for the good of those who love God.
This gives me an awful pain. And friends who are reading this, I love you. And I tell you all the time… Jesus is the greatest person in the world. Know Him because no one gets to Heaven unless you go through Jesus!!!
